HOW TO GET THERE
From Bacolod City, Hinoba-an is about five and a half hours to six hours using public utility vehicles through the main highways. By private car, it is approximately three and a half hour ride. Buses going to this southern town are available at the Bacolod South Terminal while taxis and vans for hire abound in the Capital City. The National Road going to Bacolod and Dumaguete City traverse all the 11 barangays of the Municipality of Hinoba-an.
Attraction

Obong Caves
Obong Caves are made of two unique caves with distinct features, wet and dry. The Dry and Natural Pool Cave are both facing the deep blue water of Sulu Sea. Obong Cave was once a refuge of Capt. Jesus Villamor aboard US submarine “Gudgeon” during the World War II against the Japanese invaders. It served as access point for him to land and relocate in Hinoba-an. Now, Obong Caves are being enjoyed by most local and foreign tourists exploring it’s under water sceneries like snorkeling and scuba diving, while the upland environment for trekking and hiking.

Alanaban Falls
Alanaban Falls is a 1.5 hrs. walk and about 5.8 km. away from the town proper. Most tourists love to make this place as a venue for hiking and trekking since the landscape offers a wide range of terrain and fascinating view of the entire Poblacion proper and other barangays close to it. The falls serves as the main source of water supply for irrigation and other industries that needs water for operation. Soon to be, this waterfall will serve as a main source of the Municipal Level III water system which will cater the residents of the entire municipality. Come and visit Alanaban Falls and indulge yourself in a nature trip beyond the usual thing.

Eden Island (Pitogo Island)

Eden Island (Pitogo Island)
Eden Island (Pitogo Island) is a private island resort and spa. The island with a white sandy shore known to be a world class resort that offers a luxurious accommodation and facilities to their guests.

Salvacion Port
Salvacion Port which existed during the operation of Insular Lumber Company Inc. or known as ILCO to locals has started amid 1960’s. At present, the port still serves as a docking place for vessels on emergency situation or when delivering goods, materials and heavy equipment to the existing industries in the locality, now operated by the PPA. It also serves as a haven for local fisher folks in keeping their “bankas” and “pump boats” safe during storm surge and bad weather condition.

Bolila Island
Bolila Island is located in the southern part of the municipality, situated in Barangay Asia, an island haven of sea grasses and different endangered species of mangrove growing in it. With the white sandy beach and crystal blue water which as quiet as the sea that embraces it, the island is best known of its exquisite marine ecology of coral reefs were the land and sea bound together to form this reach island paradise.

Asia Beach
Asia Beach is the place of the fine and white sandy shore and sand bars. This place is famous for its soft sand and low water beach. This is a place for family gatherings and special bonding after a weeklong of hard work.

Century Tree Beach
Century Tree Beach is located in So. Bagtic, Brgy. Bulwangan, is the haven of century old Mangrove and fine white sandy coastline and coral reefs. Experience the calmness and coolness of the sea breeze while under the shade of the coconut and enchanted old trees.

Founder’s Monument
Founder’s Monument, You can’t miss this landmark, located in the center of the Municipal Park, signifying the honor and thanksgiving of Hinoban-ons to their forefathers who had built and founded this municipality.

Bantay Dagat Watch Tower
Bantay Dagat Watch Tower, at first glance it looks like a Mc-Donald or a Jollibee restaurant, built along the shore of the Poblacion Proper. It was actually dedicated to conserve and protect our sea from dangerous and illegal activities. Bantay Dagat means guarding the sea. Stepping on the view deck of the watch tower, you will see the spectacular sunset and panoramic view of the long and sandy shore of the Poblacion Proper that faces the very deep Sulu Sea.

Pagbana-ag Festival
Pagbana-ag Festival. The word “Pagbana-ag” depicts an optimistic Hinoba-on struggling to surpass the challenges of time, i.e. amidst economic and global unrest. It expresses people’s faith, unity and cooperation, enhancement and mobilization towards empowerment which being bestowed to the respective incumbent executive and law making officials for local governance. The common vision is to make Hinoba-an shine and be clothed with glittering developments as a livable community. The identity signifies the total outcast of a barren history into a productive transfiguration of civilization.
The Pagbana-ag Festival identity was artistically designed visually painted with a rising sun and 13 rays representing 13 barangays that comprised the municipality whose lights engulf the entire municipality in abundance of marine products, agriculture, mineral resources, industry, preserved arts and culture, eco-tourism and coping technological advancements-a manifestation of a livable municipality in a common and advance era.
