Bird Watching in Pulupandan

         -30 Kilometers south of Bacolod City, Pulupandan is a visual paradise for both professional birdwatchers and photography enthusiasts. The bird sanctuary is located at Sitio Cavan in Barangay Tapong. It hosts a number of Bird Species, some of which are migratory. Among the bird species that flock the swampy area of Sitio Cavan are Garganey,Grey Heron, Intermediate Egret, Little Egret, Marsh Sandpiper, Purple Heron, Whiskered Tern, Black-winged Stilt or Common Stilt, Common Sterns, Pink-necked Green Pigeon, Purple Heron, Whistling Ducks, and White Collared Kingfishers. The best time for bird watching is from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
